The Coaches Spiel - Tim Morton

I come to Burracoppin with over a decade of senior football experience. Most of which was played at Swan Districts in the WAFL and a couple of seasons playing in the Avon Football League, one of which netted a premiership with Federals.

After some aggressive pre season recruiting, I believe that the current list is capable of massive improvement in 2010.  With the addition of some experienced WAFL players and the enthusiasm and athleticism of our younger players we have the right mix to challenge most teams in our competition.  However, having a good list doesn’t translate into winning games of football, to be successful, this team needs to find a will to win and to feel the need to improve. It is up to each and every Burracoppin player to get that extra improvement out of themselves! Our first pre-season hit out against Belmont showed some very encouraging signs and if we can build from that we will give this competition a good shake in 2010!

Thanks to everyone who made the effort to travel to Perth for the game and those involved in fundraising for the club. I look forward to the fast approaching season and meeting many of the Burracoppin locals along the way!
