The Dryland Research Institute is a State government agency focused on grain and mixed farming systems applied research.
It incorporates a dedicated Research Facility to support applied research and development.
The DRI has experts in agronomy, agricultural engineering, biosecurity, weed and pest management, pasture and livestock management, land use planning, GIS, hydrology and soil conservation.
The DRI co-locates with the Wheatbelt Development Commission and Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions.
